The water department performs an annual quality control inspection that reports quality drinking water results for the community. Annual hydrant flushing is done to remove minerals that helps maintain better water flow for Bethany.
The water treatment plant averages 350,000 gallons of water processed for use daily.
The water department services 47 miles of water lines and 1600 water meters.
The city uses a lagoon system for wastewater treatment. The city services 35 miles of sanitary sewer lines and 7 lift stations.
