Bethany Memorial Park is located at the intersection of Oakland and North 28th Street. The park sits on 28.5 acres and boasts a variety of playground equipment, one large main shelter house, three smaller shelters, a gazebo, picnic areas, restroom facilities, new aquatic center, batting cages, a baseball field, two softball fields, lighted basketball and tennis courts, croquet court, skate park and walking trails.
Skate Park
The Memorial Skate Park is a fenced, 60’ by 45’ concrete pad. The park offers two-quarter pipes, stair structure and a wedge, flat, wedge, structure with a grind ledge, a square grind rail, a grind box and two bank ramps.
Fitzgerald Batting Cages
Donated by the Fitzgerald Foundation, the batting cages are located next to the Aquatic Center. The hours of operation are during when the aquatic center is open or hours may be reserved by teams for a practice by call the Bethany Community Gym.
Trails
Memorial Park Walking Trail is five foot wide and is a quarter mile chat trail that loops around the edge of the playground and picnic area of the park. The Boy Scout Trail is located behind Linch ball field and is a dirt nature trail that makes a quarter mile loop through a wooden area.
Hours of Operation:
Prentiss Park is a one-half acre park located at Beekman and 15th Street. Prentiss Park offers one shelter house, picnic facilities, restroom facilities, playground equipment, a sand volleyball court and a walking track.
Hours of Operation:
West Park is located on North 10th Street. This park is one-half acre located along the banks of Big Creek. It has playground equipment and picnic facilities.
Hours of Operation:
Allen Park is a small landscaped area located at the intersection of Oakland and Alder Street and features a large fountain, rose bushes and benches.
